Travel: The Beautiful City Of Brugge (Bruges) , Belgium |

Welcome back everyone . Its been a while since i have finished writing my blogs lol they are all sitting in drafts , been so busy lately.Today I ‘ll be sharing my trip and tips to the beautiful city of Brugge in Belgium.  We took this trip early April but I can’t imagine how dreamy it must be during winter when all those Christmas lights are on. Brugge or Bruges is recognized by its gorgeous canals and medieval buildings. Its a small yet gorgeous little town full of history. Its best to arrive early and take the whole day to walk around and see everything it has to offer.

I didn’t realize since we went on a Sunday , I was expecting everything to be closed but it actually has a great traffic free shopping street with all kinds of low and high end brands which were open until 6 even on a Sunday but we walked through that street exactly around 6 so everything was closing  bummer for me yay for my kid and husband hehe.

Taking a boat through the canals of Brugge is a must do. You can do a boat tour or a horse carriage tour they both end up around 50$ , we decided to go with the boat. The boat ride was around 50 minutes, Azlan ( my 16 month old at the time ) being a super hyper baby who loves water , I had a little phobia that he might want to jump off the boat. That particular thought made me make sure to take my baby carrier with me and I had him strapped in it through out our boat ride. To my surprise it went surprisingly well and he loved the boat ride so much he didn’t wanna get off in the end. I have had the BabyBjorn Baby carrier since Azlan was born and it has been great , I will make sure to post the link below.

I think its a great place to visit and spend a whole day . Near the shopping street , there is a whole area with restaurants of all kinds. Plenty of souvenir shops , that you must visit to purchase something nice for yourself, family or friends. They have carousels and other attractions for young kids.

The drive from Mechelen to Brugge was pleasant as well , its only about 1 hour and 30 min , probably an hour if you are coming from Brussels. Plenty of gas stations on the way to stop for a quick snack or if you are with kids bathroom breaks. To my surprise unlike in the United States the gas station we stopped at had a cost to use the bathroom services. I had to change Azlan’s diaper and the way it worked was it was a few cents that you had to put in to use the restrooms and they pay you those cents back in a coupon which you can use to purchase something for the store. Coming from the States that was quite shocking for me lol but anyways I definitely think its a great idea though.I hope you guys enjoyed this post , photographs and the video tour below. Travel Diary: Michigan

Hey Ya’ll ! So , today’s travel diary is our most recent trip to Empire, Glen Arbor in Michigan back in September 2016. We drove from Grand Rapids early afternoon and came back around 8 PM at night. Both of these are beautiful cities located up north and have some gorgeous views of Lake Michigan. Its also home to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. There are tons of great restaurants at Western Ave in Glen Arbor. We ate at the Art’s Tavern, it had a lot of good choices. The best time to drive will be in Autumn around October , you will be able to enjoy some great fall scenery. There is a wonderful hike that gives you some great views from the top of lake Michigan. I was over a bit over 30 weeks pregnant when I went so I couldn’t do a lot of hiking but I did manage to do a little bit of it and It was great! Below are some pictures from the hike and Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive !

    Enjoy!

So here we are arriving at the Maui airport and waiting for our luggage to arrive.

For our stay we decided to stay at the beautiful Sheraton Maui Resort. Its located right on the Kaanapali Beach with some stunning views of the West Maui Mountains as well.

We bought a partial ocean view floor plan for our stay which offered beautiful view of the ocean as well as the West Maui mountains as you can see below. P.S  can you spot the rainbow?

While we were there , we also enjoyed some Hawaiian Rain and a little birdy came to visit us on our balcony!

Some more views of the resort.

ʻIao Valley State Park is a must visit , the views and the beauty is absolutely stunning and no photograph can do justice to the nature you are able to experience in person.

    Relax day on Kaanapali Beach

We took the 8 line Adventure Tour Zip line with Skyline Eco Adventures. It was our first time and we had a blast . It looks scary but once you do it you will definitely want to do it again! Trust me !

The next morning we got up early to go Snorkeling with Redline Rafting. Bummer we didn’t spot in whales because the whale season ends in early May! but we did get to see turtles and dolphins.

If you have time definitely visit The Ali’i Kula Lavender Farm In Maui. It was worth the drive !

We missed the sunrise at Haleakalā Crater National Park but we still drove there to enjoy the stunning sunset. The sunset was seriously the most amazing part of this drive , seeing the clouds below us from above was absolutely stunning.

The one thing to definitely do in Hawaii is take the Road to Hana , you will see some of the most amazing views of the Island. Don’t forget to take the map with you.

Don’t forget to stop by the Botanical Gardens on your drive to Hana.

Before heading back we stopped to eat lunch/dinner at the Hana Ranch Restaurant which provides great ocean views.

For a fancier dinner date we decided to visit the Monsoon India Restaurant. The views , the food everything exceeded our expectation.

We also drove to the outlets to Maui and enjoyed some delicious ice cream from cold stone with a great view !

One thing you HAVE to try are these delicious chocolates , we bought them from Walgreens.
