Hey everyone! Today I bring you a very delicious recipe of canned tuna. This is a great way to add fish to your diet while also enjoying a great taste. Fish is important since its high in protein and provides essential nutrients such as omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin D , which your body definitely needs to function properly. All food available at the grocery store is not healthy , you have to make sure what you are buying is healthy. Depending on where the fish is coming from farm/ocean it can definitely make an impact on your health so its important to choose wisely. We have to make sure no GMO’s are involved and fish is low in mercury and coming from ocean instead of farms , therefore I recommend and used Wild Planet Skipjack Wild Tuna (Light Tuna).
Wild Planet Skipjack Wild Tuna is pole and line caught which means its highly selective and other marine animals stay unharmed while each fish is caught individually by fishermen. Hello loves, For this recipe i am using the same chicken that was left over from the organic broth recipe that I posted earlier. We bought the chicken at a local organic farm , we slaughtered it ourselves. There is a tremendous difference in the chicken you buy at a local market compared to the one from the farm. The diet , health and the condition the chicken lived in is very important factor to consider. Animal welfare is very important because whatever condition that animal lived in will affect you too when you eat it. If you are eating the chicken that comes from factories where they lived a stressful life , never saw a day in the sun , was fed GMO food and grew up with growth hormones etc. Don’t you just wonder what horrible effects it will have on your body and not just that by eating and buying that chicken you are supporting cruelty on animals and the companies that run it.
Yes eating healthy can be a bit expensive for some people but isn’t it better to eat less but healthy rather then to eat a lot but total crap that will bring no good to you or your body. Its a matter of choice and what your prioritize. Buy local and support small organic farms. The Farm/Home raised chicken takes longer to get tender compared to the one you buy at the grocery store which is why its better if you boil it before starting this recipe or you may also use a pressure cooker. If you are just simply boiling the chicken before you can also add its broth to the Karahi , it will make a tremendous difference in taste. I didn’t have any clear broth to use because I made the drink out of it. You can read my organic broth drink recipe here.
